Industry CRC Gets $28M to Revolutionize Construction

A $28 million grant has been awarded to a Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) including Lendlease, BlueScope and Monash University to reduce waste, delays and emissions from Australian building projects.

The Building 4.0 CRC research initiative, which also includes organisations such as the Donovan Group, The University of Melbourne, Sumitomo Forestry and CSR, aims to transform how buildings are designed and manufactured in Australia.

The $28 million grant will leverage a combined $103 million from industry, government and research partners, bringing the total research budget to $131 million over seven years. Continue here
